BACKSTROM iMPACT is a consulting firm specialising in organisational and business development. We provide support to boards, executive teams, and workgroups, as well as to leaders, managers, and employees. Our work is based on scientifically proven theories, concepts, and processes, including Developmental Leadership (UL), Indirect Leadership (IL), Developmental Employee-ship (UM), and the Management Team Assessment Model (MTAM). With a high level of personal engagement, we work with both the private and public sectors.

We have conducted various process-oriented training programmes based on the Swedish Defence University’s research on Developmental Employee-ship (UM) for thousands of employees in both the private and public sectors. We are also licensed in the Defence University’s concepts and train leaders and managers in Developmental Leadership (UL) and Indirect Leadership (IL). Organisations that train both leaders and employees using this research often report benefits for both individuals and teams. A shared language and understanding of these models across the organisation lead to greater job satisfaction, improved performance, and better organisational results.

We are also licensed to use the MTAM (Management Team Assessment Model), a scientifically developed tool specifically designed for management teams. With the support of MTAM, it is possible to create greater alignment and increased efficiency in boards and executive teams. We also support managers and CEOs individually through coaching.

With extensive experience in strategic development processes, we work closely with our clients to create creative solutions that can be practically implemented and lead to the desired results based on their needs.

MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

To strengthen leadership, we offer training initiatives in the Swedish Defence University’s concepts, such as Developmental Leadership (UL) and Indirect Leadership (IL). These trainings bring great benefits at both the individual and organisational levels. We also work with individual coaching for managers and CEOs.

DEVELOPMENT

We specialise in business, organisational, and overall company development. Our services include support for change management, whether it involves the entire organisation or specific parts of it. We also offer process-oriented initiatives focused on navigating and working through change.

MARKETING AND SALES

Assistance with sales processes and exploring new markets, including sectors such as the public sector.

MTAM

We work towards increased efficiency and alignment within management teams. We have extensive experience and are licensed to use the Management Team Assessment Model (MTAM), a scientifically developed tool specifically tailored for management teams.

We provide support with analyses and plans for organisational development and change efforts, including business plans. We also assist with creating visions, goals, and strategies. All the work we produce is available in both Swedish and English.

We have extensive experience in conducting customised training initiatives regarding employee-ship (employee engagement) in both small and large companies/organisations. We base our approach, among other things, on the Swedish Defence University's research on developmental employee-ship.
